the Silver Clef Award in 1977, for their contributions to British music. They also recieved a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
Collins is the only member that was knighted into the Royal Victorian Order.
Because of Genesis' popularity, some cover bands have been created, most notably The Musical Box which was formed in Montreal in 1993.
Genesis reunited in 2007 for their highly successful reunion tour, Turn It On Again: The Tour.
