The Members:

Phil Collins was born on January 30, 1951 in Chiswick, London, England. He was intially the drummer for the band, but with
Peter Gabriel's departure, he became the lead singer as well as still playing the drums. Collins also pursued a successful solo carreer in
the early 1980s, while still being a member of Genesis. He officially left the band in 1996.

Tony Banks was born on March 20, 1950 in East Hoalthy, East Sussex, England. He is the pianist for Genesis.
The band is known for their long musical interludes, which are mainly played on the keyboard or piano by Banks.
Aside from the band, he has written a few movie scores.

Mike Rutherford was born on October 2, 1950 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. He is the guitarist and bassist.

playing alongside Rutherford. Streumer is very often credited as the guitarist or bassist on Collins' solo albums.
